What condition does the MicroPen Evo help with?
Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin. It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté’, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and neck—the areas that often reveal the most tell-tale signs of aging and sun damage.
What should i expect from an Eclipse MicroPen Evo Treatment?
A sterile cartridge containing tiny micro-points is attached to the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO. In a single motion, the pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered. Many clients report that the feeling of the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO on their skin is like that of sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas of the skin are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip makes the treatment more comfortable. Because most micro-needling sessions only take about 15 to 30 minutes, any discomfort is temporary and is felt only during the procedure itself.
What should I expect after a treatment?
The total healing time from an Eclipse MicroPen® EVO procedure depends on the pen position used and the number of overlapping passes. On average, clients experience redness for two to four days. Some clients heal completely within 24 hours. Most clients report noticing a redness to the skin following the procedure.
Clients can see a “glow” to their skin as soon as the procedure is finished, and visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve up to six months after the treatment. Some clients only require a single treatment in one visit just once a year to achieve noticeable results. However, we recommend that clients receive a series of two to three treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart for best results. For clients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals.
